What to do after visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum? How about hit some baseballs at Thornhill's Batting Cages!

As the museum approaches its 20th Anniversary next year, it continues to attract guests in record numbers. This past July, a whopping 61,500 visitors toured the museum and factory, marking the first time the attraction has drawn more than 60,000 visitors in a single month, and also fueling a record-setting month in sales for the Museum Store. The previous attendance record was 56,507 guests in July 2013.
A number of factors played into the attendance record, including regional baseball tournaments, extended summer hours, and special programming. In addition, the current special exhibition, Topps Pop Culture: Home Runs to Hollywood has earned high praise from guests and garnered media attention regionally which helps boost awareness and drive attendance.
"We are thrilled that the public continues to embrace Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory as we plan for our twentieth year in operation. We don't take the support for granted," said Anne Jewell, VP and Executive Director. "Our team is passionate about what we do here. We know how important it is to evolve and stay on top of our game as ambassadors for the iconic Louisville Slugger brand and our great hometown of Louisville," she added.
More than four million guests have visited Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory since it opened in July 1996.
